There isn't much backpressure. Water flows just fine. This has a 1/4" x 1/2" channel diverting water to the outlets. But that same feature is not allowing the water to hit the pins. I am using a 170GPH Little Giant inline pump. It only rated to like 1 foot of head at 170gph.
