You should be OK, as long as the shank diameter is also 1.0 mm.

If you want in, I'm preparing an order for solid grain carbide endmills, 1.0 mm (actually, they're 0.0400", not 0.0394"). $2.50 a piece. No coating, and I don't know if they're center cutting. The flute depth is .25" (>6.0mm). $2.50 a piece, plus shipping.
