I run my Gen-X pump 24/7, and have been for about five-six months in a highly resistant system, so it stays pretty hot. I haven't had any problems whatsoever. I am planning, though, on replacing it in a year and a half ... I'd rather spend $100 on an unnecessary replacement than lose over a thousand dollars on burnt equipment, and it will leave me with an emergency spare.
