I also have problems with caffeine putting me to sleep, I really don't understand it.
I guess I average 5-7hrs of fitful sleep a night, but that can easily stretch to 10-12, if I get a rare lazy weekend.
I think I threw myself out of whack in college, when I was working full time with a family--I would get about 4h a night, and sleep through class.
I still haven't adjusted to the 9-5 yet...
