I need a reservoir...
...but not just any reservoir. I want one made out of copper and that is the same size as a CD-ROM. Yeah, I know what you're thinking... What about the lucite bay-res deal?
Well, I don't think being able to see green water sloshing around in a reservoir serves any kind of purpose, and I want to be able to change the hose barbs without destroying the reservoir.
So, I was thinking:
1) Use 0.048 for the top, bottom, and front
2) Use 0.125 for the sides, with an extra piece of 0.125 soldered on the inside horizontal centerline for screws
3) Use 0.250 for the back, to give the fittings a place to thread into
I figure it would cost about $25 for material. Would anyone be willing to take on the task of building one of these in exchange for an item or two that I have listed in the FS/FT forum? I also have an as yet unused bay-res.
