I'd go for a lexan top way before a aluminum one. I have a lot more faith in lexan's strength than I do in aluminum not finding a way to corrode.

Fact is I'd trust the lexan to the point where I'd buy it over the copper one. I know that will raise a howl, but that is my feeling on it. Don't have the same faith in other plexi's, just lexan.
