You want distilled water. Don't use stuff specific to batteries or whatnot ... instead, go to your local supermarket/Wal*Mart type store and pick up gallon jugs of distilled water. They normally run about $0.50 USD per gallon. It works just as well for much less money. Make sure you add anti-corrosion and biocide to your mix. Some common chemicals are Water Wetter, Purple Ice, Hyperlube (my fav), or Xerex radiator additive. If you want to add additional algae/bacteria killing action to it, you can add some antifreeze (the more you add the higher your temps will be, so just a warning) and/or small amounts of hot tub sanitizer (non chlorine and non bromine).
