look, having bad ram doesnt prevent you ppl for overclocking.

just got a 1700++ JIUCB BUT:

-the crapiest DRD 333 ram i found ( 2*256, i can give you the manufacture later)

its at 2400mhz stable @ 1.8v (keeps running prime95 with no errors) and mbm says it has a temperature of..... 58 degrees....

i agree, the cooler is the cheapest copper one i found, i just adapted in it a 120mm fan :shrug:

in fact, i can get this with a stick of DDr 266 i have also.

but in bios you have to set timings low, like 7-3-2 with cas at 2.5, and letting the RAm diviser in auto. in my system its at 60% i think (122 mhz on ram)

this is just for testing the processor, if you like the overclocability of it, go buy some decent ram for it, because it deserves it
