Some of the best evidence for the evolution of species comes from biochemistry. Take a look at the enzymatic pathways that metabolic processes take to get from point a to point b. These sorts of indirect evidence of common ancestors has to some extent refined the field of taxonomy, and the study of enzyme pathways and reactivity have also transformed the field of drug development. If I wanted to look at evidence of some higher power then I would return to the very thing most creationists hold persona non gratis: science.
