no, i think you guys have the wrong idea, this is not the base of the block, this would be the top of the block. I would be using something like a whitewater or other clone for the base then for space consumption reasons it would save me a lot of space to have the barbs come in from the side and route it over the block than have a top and a barb with a 90 deg angle on it. if i do the top of the block this way i figure i can save myself over an inch of space which is badly needed. anoter way to kinda describe how the top would look would be the following picture.
but instead of injecting at a 45 like swiftec has make it a real 90
