Default Acoustical Insulation

I was looking around and noticed these offerings from AcoustiCase, which uses multiple layers of structural support and acoustical insulation.

Basically they've decided they can get away with taking a decent case (they're doing the same to the Antec Sonata), installing this insulation from their own product line, and selling the "modded" case. Hey, more power to them - the illustration looks like decent job to me. They won't be selling them until late June 2003, if even then.

So I was wondering if anyone else has specific info about sound insulation - good cases to use, good types of insulation to use, and specific techniques. I see few cases with any actual insulation in them, but losts of examples of places selling sound-dampening foam without any indication of how and where to install it.
