Hello:
Newguy on this forum. I also wanted a good baybus! Bought one at PCMods and hooked all my fans to it! Except one, the BIG 120 I have as the intake. The baybus is limited to 6 watts! My 120/103CFM monster consumed 7.2 watts! Couldn't hook it up. That sucker is soo loud I would have it shut down for the longest time. At least until summer. So, I built my own! It took some doing too! It may not look real purdy, but it works very well!!! I have it set up to full speed/what ever you want speed! And I fit it all in a floppy bay cover! I MAY be talked into building others for the right money! I could send you a list of supplies, build it,ship it to you and you'll be set up like me! I don't know the actual wattage limit, but since the parts are hand soldiered and have wires instead of circuit traces... I have two other fans in my Baybus I bought rated at 4.8 watts each(so they are on seperate circuits)and the traces have discolored from use. Current heat! My hand built job doesn't get warm! In fact, it works so well, there are times when the CPU and the intake(on low) are the only fans on and it is 2C above room temp!
