updated the spec, took out the pelts for now probably add too much problems for a first time watercooling setup but do keep in mind i would like to keep upgradablity in mind so i could just stick a pelt in and be good to go without needing to buy 2000 new stuff u know what i mean.
cpu waterblock
I'm looking for a top notch performer without having to do much setup, preferly an 1/2 inch hose. so far this is what i got.
MCW5000 by swiftech
TC-4 Poly Topped Block (AMD, P-4)
bingo i think i found my waterblock
MAZE4-1
3" x 2.45" x 5/8" + Peltier Height + 3/8" Cold Plate
Use with up to 50mm x 50mm Peltier
so i can stick my pelter in and do a little bit of consderation prevantion and i would be good, no?
Video card waterblock
same requirement as the cpu waterblock
mcw50 by swiftech
onice again i think i found a good one
MAZE4GPU-1
with pelter so i can stick my pelter in do a bit of consderation prevation and i will be good.
pump
i'm not sure about the pump but i think this one looks nice
nice pump i think about 480 some gallon per hour and its CHEAP.
is that one a good pump?
radator
now this is where i'm having trouble with i'm not quite sure which radator would be a good one?
just grab any good ol heatcore from a car and i'm good to go?? but it probably will have to support 2 pelts and maybe 3 waterblock.
northbridge
not sure because have you guys seen the Abit IC7-G board, notice how the fan is holded onto the northbridge chip with that wierd assembly thing so i'm not sure how i would hook up an waterblock to it plus wouldn't it also slow down the flow for not much benefit?
ram sink
TweakMonster RAMsinks - Perfect for the Geforce4 and Radeon Video Cards
stick em on the video card ram with AS3 is that correct? then i can yake em off by leting em warm up then gently twist em off or so?
miscellanous items
1/2 inch worm clamps, and alots of them
some hose, how about these?
Tygon TUBING
1/2" ID 3/4" OD
$2.90/ft
then what else do i need.
some 120mm fan for the radator unit, and probably an
Y joint to spilt the flow between the video card and the cpu or should i run them paraell with each other aka radator to cpu to video card to resvor to pump to radator type of setup?
anything else i'm missing
resveror
i really like the one that Project Double Header 3 used they were great, but i probably can't do that, and i don't like the bay resvor so i'm thinking of constructing my own with regular old tuber ware, then put 3 hole in it, one hole on top of the tuberware lid which is a large hole which i will drill in top of the case and put an sort of cap there, its so i can fill up the system easely or drain it by just turning the whole case upside down.
then on the bottom of the tuberware is going to be two 1/2" fitting for the hose.
glue or gloop or whatever
now this i got no clue and i probably will need quite a few for the tuberware. and i'll also need some way to attach the tuberware to top of the case and keep the whole thing sealed and tight so it won't burst open and drench my cpu and stuff.
sealant or consderation prevation
need some stuff to stop consderation from covering all my good stuff heh.
