TEC's is the big reason yes, being able to fit large-ass fittings in close proximity to another is another reason, as well as helping the block a little bit in regards to flow-rate,
per example. He made more or less what I made here....
I'm running 9 rows as to his 7, reason being that I do not need an O-ring.
this is pushing it a bit though
