I didn't use to trust anything but Intel, as there were a lot of issues with the first non-Intel CPUs.

AMD is the only survivor of the Intel lookalikes, and has proven itself time and time again. It's now an essential part of the CPU industry.

I fully endorse AMD. Even without SSE2 instruction set, it will still perform amazingly well, at a reduced price.

I just wish AMD would do something better with their thermal solutions, without compromising the enthusiast market like Intel did.
