jR is right

it can not be more than 100% efficient because this is braking physics laws.
In reality it wont be anywhere near 100%

A 172 watt TEC will not and can not move 172 watts of heat from one side to another.

We know this for sure because the TEC’s hot side gets hotter that the cold side gets cold

It’s basic physics really
