Hey BrickHouse, you want to hear some DSL installation horror stories? You should ask how long it should take before you have your DSL service up and running? Min 4 to 6 weeks. On average, the waiting time is about 2 months, depending who is doing the DSL line installation. In my case, I have Verizon installing the line and www.AceDSL.com as my provider. It has been three months since I first subscribed to AceDSL and still don't have DSL connection. Because of Verizon strike and, now, Verizon's screw up. They can't trouble-shoot why I don't get any routing activities. If possible, go cable. If not, research your choice of DSL provider carefully. I am sick of DSL even before ever using it.
