Don't woory about the airflow, if you have a big rad like mine it doesn't matter!

Mine sits flush against an internal wall and recieves NO airlow whatsoever, it still dissipates heat though, obiously better if there is a fan but there is no need if all you want is silence like me.

The only fan i have inside my room is the PSU, and that will be added to my loop within the next few months. I have no case fans, northbidge fans or anything else!!

Just go for it, you can always keep an eye on temps to see how it performs,
