well, as far as a fake battery pack goes, i decided that i wanted to be able to unplug the TI from the wall & go with it instead of having to put the batteries back in. this way i leave the batteries in all the time & they're only used when the jack is unplugged. (i think). as far as games being unplayable after overclocking it, look up TI mods on the internet, or go to TI-calc.org and it shows a way to switch between normal & overclocked operation (for programs like games that use the clock speed to run properly) that'll be my next project when i get the guts to hack into the TI again.
