Actually, it's pretty fair.

The smallest pump (@ 40 W) has a max head of 7 feet, a bit better than an Eheim 1250. Max flow rate is 600 gph, almost twice the Eheim 1250, which draws 26 Watts. If anything, I'd be worried that the pump is a noisy direct drive design.

The pump is really designed for a low restriction loop, but will work just the same.


If you can afford $400 for a pump, look at "March" pumps: you won't be dissapointed.
