other than the part about "cheap ass", jaydee is correct. My uncle owns a 27.5 foot proline and uses the 1250 model from walmart in it. These pumps are quite high quality and will last for ages when used correctly(pumping out the boat and only running a few minutes at a time).The live well and bait well use different pumps however. I do not know the brand or model, but the pressure from each is immense. What i really need to do is go buy another one of the 500 gph models, and see how long it will last with some sort of backpressure in the loop with it. Im not saying tons of fisherman dont use bilge pumps on livewells either, my uncle added another live well recently and what did he use to circulate it, the 500 gph model.
