can always do a mesurement, here's the info they had posted on their new page about the clearance.

another psoibility is on the peltier version they stated it can be used with or or without a peltier, not sure how much of a perfomance hit you would take running it without the peltier but that would add .300" to the 7/16" height, though I don't know if without a peltier they mean removing the cold plate entirely or not.
