I second everything FRAGN'STIEN said above, and all I can add is that you can't beat the feeling of making the block and than installing it, and be sure that you won't stop at that, you'll tweak it a little bit more for number of times...
As for the performance, they work REALLY good, so it's a double satisfaction...
