With the efficiency of the technique, you could actually make a smaller water block. Small enough that you could get to the ZIF lever.

True, if your CPU ever died, you'd be screwed...Or would you? You could just scrape off most of the cpu from the block, then you could Lap the block down a little bit to get it flat, and Voila, you have yourself your block back.

I just thought that the article was very interesting.
