Hmmm. Tricky one. I can't seem to think of a way around the positioning of the mounting holes. For the GF4's there wouldn't be a problem as the holes are far enough apart.

You could try cutting off the 4 corners of the block (where the current Socket A holes are) and mount the block on a 45 degree angle. This would then allow you to tap some M3 holes into the base of the block and have the holes fall outside of the O-ring channel in the base-plate of the block so you won't cause a leak.

That's about the only thing I can think of. If you ever wanted to re-use the block on a CPU again, just get a plate made up (like I had for the P4 adaptors) with holes in it for the mounting holes and bolt it onto the top of the block.
