Risk? None. They are on my network, all 1200 total of them. Issues only come up if it would affect productivity of our user base. Which I have taken great precautions against. Myself and my team have pretty much full control of our network. managemen tonly cares that our customers are happy. This is State Gov not a normal private company so rules are a lil different. Also since my small 8 person tech group is the best technical team in the state gov, we get lots of slack
Because I want to make sure the client is stable and the different machine times are solid I dont put more on all at once but stager it. I could add a ton more but the reality is, copy'n out that many fold dir's to machines takes too damn long and too much of my time setting up more. 20 at a time seems to be the most I will setup at any one time simply cause after that I am looking at like a half hour investment just to add more machines.
Also we dont have all P4's so I need to make sure the machines I am picking are the P4's we have... theres more work in it than I want but its a SMOOTH setup. I was going to add 30 more on for this weekend but just dont want to spend the time on it.
I'm also VERY competative... so when some team does a dump, I take the time to add more machines

hell I would push this thing to 1000k/hr if it turned out to be needed. in theory with every machine we have doing some rough calc I could get to 2 or 2.5M/hr And this is with this slow protien
