forest fires are a natural occurrence. Forest fires happened before we were here... just because the logging companies want the trees to cut down, it is a very big deal. It is unfortunate that homes get destroyed in the process. Would you tell me not to use a jack hammer for fear of earthquakes?

There is lots of water. Have any idea how much water the Fraser River dumps into the ocean on a daily basis? and that is one of many rivers.
