Hi krisco, and welcome to the forums!
Here's the pic of the block very similar to the one you want to make, I used it on my 1.8 palomino, and it worked well, although I didn't oc in those days...
It's simpler to drill all of the channels in the block, and then just epoxy/solder the plugs in gray sections of the pic.
If you already have the drill press, do a search on #Rotor's blocks here, much more simpler to make, and much more effective...
