As stated the block is soldered together in one go, (the previous images in this topic were just dry assembly shots). Another thing I've learned. It is very important to note you must have a escape hole in the block somewhere before you solder it, (anything will do, a barb hole, or smaller starter hole if you are not exactly sure where you want the barb hole), or the hot gas pressure will build up inside and possibly cause the solder not to fully seal in places as it cures. Experience counts I guess

Since that article I've also found a better more flexible tube made from polyurethane and transparent, that works well with the festo fittings.
