i accepted an offer on my flat today. it's a little lower than i wanted but i the best thing is i dont have to move. i can rent the flat initialy for 6 months at a reduced rate which is about the same as i pay now and will get to pocket £40,000.
in 6 moths i will be looking for a place with my girlfirend so will have plenty for a deposit.

anyway this means i could build my dream pc very soon but i dont think i am going to it's just not the best time to upgrade. I might upgrade my vid car from a gf4 ti4200 to a 9600 pro possibley a 9800 pro but thats about it. At least i will be ready for dx9 games

i am planning on building a external rad box with a bigger pump than my 1048 and also water cooling the new vid card. perhaps even getting a maze 4 gpu with tec option.

when i eventualy move i am thinking of getting a barebones case or something that looks more like hifi than pc and connecting it to a 42" plasma in the living room using the bits from the current pc in the bare bones case and then buidling some thing new but thats a while away.
