Well, it seems I may need to upgrade to something else after all. Last night I had trouble posting because my machine crashed three tims in two hours. All three times a little file called nv4_mini.sys, which is part of the driver suite for the GF4, caused fatal errors, and sent the otherwise stable computer into a reboot, ususally as I was typing a reply. So now that I have been warned off of manually uninstalling DX9, It seems that once again I must reinstall. ATI is starting to look better and better.
