Alright everyone calm down  I am the first to NOT RMA things that I broke, Like my IC7 I just fried with a volt mod. However, Intel CPU's are supposed to have overheat protection. Even with no HSF attached it should either throttle terribly or shut down with no harm done to the CPU. An Intel CPU should not die from getting too hot as it has protection. In this case, I would personally RMA the CPU and have no issue with ethics on the matter. It is not like he removed the IHS and busted the core
