Using Hazen-Williams (Darcy would be more accurate), I calculate 1 foot of head loss through 36' of true 1/2" ID tubing, at 1 gpm (60 gph).

It climbs up to 2' 2", at 1.5 gpm (90 gph).

(friction factor: 150)
