If you had clearflex I would say, don't bet on it. Clearflex absorbs much more inpurities than Tygon. With tygon you the gunk may have not been able to penetrate deeply in the tube walls, and you may have more luck getting it out.

I rinsed using this mix and my tubing never came back. However I let it run too long with the impurities. After I flushed and added WW to my system my temps went down 3C.

As far as the chemical reaction to the tubing.. try using a sacrificial section and drop it in the solution. If it comes out clear on 10-15 minutes you will have your answer.
