I have some clearflex, wouldnt replace silicone with it for almost any reason. I love the silicone hose for W/C systems. Never have I had a silicone hose leak on a hose barb. I cant count the number of times I have had vinyl and Tygon leak. Silicone is where its at. McMaster is where I got all my silicone hose in the past and more than likely in the future.
