I found a solution for my 12x100 tbird.
if you close the L7 jumper it causes the computer to initially try to boot the cpu with 1.85 volts instead of the cpu's default of 1.75 or 1.70. For some freakish reason this works for tbirds. I have no idea if it will work for a duron simply because with the tbird all i had to do was close one bridge...you might have to cut a bridge or two on the duron
With a duron...isn't it almost cheaper to just buy a 133 fsb chip?....or get a tbird
