whew Les, something of a chore to re-read all that
for some time I have been using a nominal TIM joint value of ~0.1°C/W (for my 100mm² die)
- and this approximate value has been confirmed by other labs

did we not continue the discussion you linked to ? (elsewhere perhaps ?)

I am now wondering how I got to 0.1

the Aavid paper describes such a calorimeter, but it is much bigger
