Hey guys I was wondering why the top plate of a #rotor block has to have "dimpled". And why the dimples have to be aligned with the holes on the baseplate...

Wouldn't it be better if the "dimples" were aligned DIRECTLY ABOVE the PINS such that water can still flow OVER the pins and provide a bit more cooling?

What do you think?
