superart -A DTek radiator is not going to perform better than a standard AutoZone Chevette Heater Core because they are essentially the same. The only benefit is the added barbs, which may be a huge deal for some.

Really from physics stand point surface area is one the biggest factors involved in heat convection. Theoretically the DTek Jr core should have more surface are because it is thicker and has more total surface area. However there are a few other factors involved in heat convection that could affect the cores efficiency.

The bottom line is that unless someone has actual run a real world test with both I’m not sure how anyone could say one is better performing than the other.

By the way I would save yourself the money and go with the coolingworks shourd and a heater core.
