Not sure if they are sold in the UK, but Dynatron makes a skived fin copper CPU cooler that Newegg is selling for $8 US.
Cut up it would out perform the Tweakmonsters or OCZ sinks. The taller fined copper CPU cooler would offer more surface area.
And at much lower cost.
