They are narrow my friend for BGA chips, and also overly long the other way.
You may note that the ones I posted are for BGA memory. To bad they aren't taller.

What you are talking about, according to OCZ both of these should be able to fit on BGA ramsinks SUCH AS the mem on the 9800 pro, which i believe is definately BGA sized. Although I see your point how these should fit better, the OCZ did say it not only on the website... However I never saw the 'perfect quote' statement
. Anyway I would just get the copper ones since they are cheaper if you don't want absolute performance and a more budget minded pc (cough my pc, and yes i should be getting these ramsinks soon
