So it IS possible though I don't know what size you will need for an ambient system - I'm thinking that might not be enough, though.
Think of it as a kettle the heating element boiling the water there is a point where a heating source of X watts can no longer raise the temperature of the water because the heat is disapated before it has a chance to rise in temperature.
Radiators work buy giving the water more surface area so what you are etentially talking about is a VERY INEFFICIENT passive radiator of 200x160x440 dimentions. From that you can even work out the surface area on a compared to a heatcore I'm thinking they will be pretty low.
Add that to the fact there will be less airflow THROUGH the core of your "radiator" so it will be even less effective.
But it IS possible but I think you will need to go a lot larger than that - or find a way to cool/exchange the water.
