I didn't see anything addressing common size ratings on various types of threads on pipe fittings specifially, so I found a few links.

British and other sizes:

And standard American:

That site also has other national standards on it as well.

Glad we could help. This is what ProCooling is good at; we have a LOT of really good technical information about cooling (not just what is currently trendy).

So if the rad barb is 3/8" BSPT what would the ID be or is that the ID? Why does the PA160 only come in that one size and not use interchangeable barbs?
Oh nvm I answered my own question. That is the in/out size not the barb size ...I can still have 3/8 or 1/2 barbs on that rad.

If I am not mistaken, the size of a fitting is the OD of a male fitting and the ID of a female fitting. If threaded, it is the diameter of whatever surface has the threads.
