Default Finding a logic analyzer

I'm currently the Electrical group leader for my school's Formula SAE team and I've come to the realization that our electrical system development can't go much further without acquiring better logic analysis tools. Unfortunately we are a non-profit organization so we really can't afford to spend the $3000 plus for really decent test equipment. We are currently using a USBee logic analyzer which we won't have access to in the near future. I''ve solicited donations/discounts from several manufacturers already and am looking for names of companies I can contact to try to obtain what we need. Any suggestions?

Oh and if anyone is wondering what our electrical system contains, we have several board with various functionality all communicating with one another through an I2C bus. That's a simple explanation but I can elaborate if needed.
