Hey, do you know anything about using a car battery charger to run some 24volt peltiers?

?? Nope never tried.
Hey BTW I ordered 1 of those 50Watt Pelts from meci for 9.95$ (they got em for 8$ also) it was attacted to something but was easily taken off. I put it on a 12V R/C car starter battery (my other hobby) and it chilled right down and heated right up on the otherside. I am gonna order 3 to 6 more. Also due to a mis order I now have 8 4 3/8" All BB, Al. box fans. so I am gonna use all 8 on my radiators fo rthe HAWCS setup. for 5.00$ each its a steal. I would recomend you all score some of these!! (refer to the other post for model #) ------------------ C-ya Joe |

a couple of things come to mind with a 24V peltier and a battery charger... First the power coming from a battery charger is not true DC power (very spiked looking on an O-scope) also what type of charger has a 24V setting (maybe for an aircraft or heavy equipment???)
