Chrome Button Head Allen Screws, local?
Anyone know of a place to get these in Northern VA? I know I can order them from here: http://www.dspedalcarrestorations.co..._fasteners.htm, but they only do UPS and I need them before Friday

ace hardware store.
SS versions at Ace that polish up real good. I seen 2 ace hardware stores have chrome parts. NOT ALL OF THEM JUST, 2 OUT OF THE 5 Ace hardwares I been to in Ca. They have chrome screws, washers, and nuts and allen screws but they were more expensive by as much as $1 than the listed price in the link. |

Re: Chrome Button Head Allen Screws, local?
I should clarify. The last two ACE's I most recently visited had Chrome or nickel button allen head bolts, screw, nuts, washers, and tons of misc. stuff.
A third ace had smaller selection of only basic nickel plated parts. Specific ACE locations might stock based on type of customers? I doubt the other two ACe's had them. I would've noticed but those were way back in the days. Ace, Lowes, and Home Depot do have SS ones. I'm surprised Homedepot has them because the last two I went to for sure doesn't have them. |

Re: Chrome Button Head Allen Screws, local?
the nearest ace hardware is pretty small. A better selection of nuts and bolts but no chrome and no nickle plated. Oh well. All the homedepots Ive been to in northern VA all suck in terms of nuts and bolts selection. Cant even find a button head philips machine screw period.

Re: Chrome Button Head Allen Screws, local?
It is different everywhere. I used to travel the country for my old construction job and every trip had to go to Home Depot. Their inventories are all different. They stock what they sell to most of. If one thing won't sell much they drop the product all together. The 2 Home Depots I go to here both have a decent selection of those pan head allen screws. They are in the fastener section in roll out drawers. They unusually come 2 screws to a plastic bag. I even got allen head set screws on the last visit to finish my die sim.
