2.24G, Is that a typo? I would expect at least 2.4G with stock aircooling from a winnie.

No interest in OCing the 64 3000. System was built for the FX57. The 3000 was purchased get to ensure an operational system. Would not risk a $800 to $1,000 processor on a hardware malfunction.

Your system won't last till the FX57 if you keep running those 50z's at 14volts. Anything above 13.8volts has shown to cause serious damage to the pumps. Bring it down to 13.8 or lower to be safe.

Quote from a watercooling Guru -

"Typical operational range is around 10.0v - 14.9v.

Below 10.0v the DC motor inside stops spinning and the pump ceases to work at all.

At or above 15.0v the magnetic armature has a very high chance of magnetically decouple from the impeller, resulting in the motor spinning, but the impeller not spinning (i.e. the pump ceases to pump water). Under very carefully controlled conditions it is possible to get the pump up to 16.0v before magnetic decoupling pretty much always occurs.

14.0v is probably the "safest" over-voltage to run with. Above that and I'd say you're getting into serious pump life-span shortening territory, although I have no actual evidence to back that statement up, but rather is just a feeling. I could be totally wrong and it could kill the pump in a matter of months, but I don't think so as I've run an MCP600 here at 14.0v for about 6 months now without apparant problems."

I'll take that risk.

Ooook then lol, it isn't like 13.8 will give you that much less performance hehe. I figured someone running an small oven on their cpu would want to ensure their water in their loops keep flowing. Oh well...

Then again the whole thing about overclocking is push it beyond specification...
we push the CPU, ram, MB beyond spec... why not the pump as well?
