some results.
well so far im down. 1 amd 1.3g & 1 duron 800 chipset
The duron,chiped the corner of the heatplate,messing with the stock hsf. The t-bird, died cracked in half with a lil help, from me to see what the line was on it. recoup my lossses and the store give's me a brand spanky new. 800 duron. No suck luck with the t-bird @ present the lil duron runs @ 1010mhz. 110 w peltier oc watercool.com copper bloc. getto rig heater cores from various cars. pump and res. from home depot. all on top of , abit kt7a riad 0 micron. pc133 sblive,dvd,3com nic. millenium. edition. blah. so far. ive been able to run the proc , down to 22.f@800mhz/full load 40f.this is also. with the volts at 1.40 on the utility with the board. seems to want to lock up after i leave it for a few hours. running at the present 1010mhz, it idles@32/33f. and full load some counter stirke of. quake 3. it goes in to the high 50's f. all this with some warm ass . water.hovers around 89 &90 f. ambient in room. being low 80s f. using home made lexan retainer on the blocs ; to the board,regular white thermal compound. and vaseline, everywhere under the proc till it kinda oozed out. all this meticulousy. wraped and packed in a 1/4 in. rubber pad stuff " from the carpet guy" and ziptied around the whole enchalata. till i can get a p/s for the 156w pelts. or a fridge to cool off the water a bit more. im stuck here. hope this or anything has helped anyone...... peace out. |
