Snap Server 520/500 Guardian OS hard drives, power supplies, parts
I have a refurbished Snap Server 520 that was initially working just fine, but when I shipped it to my colo something happened and it no longer provides power to the drive bays. the motherboard receives power fine, though. Anyway, I already made a FedEx claim so I am now looking to part out the server.
I have several auctions on ebay right now, but if anyone wants to make an offer from the forums, please do. I have original Seagate Barracuda ES.2 750GB hard drives preloaded with Guardian OS 4 on them. They were never used beyond an initial bootup when i got the unit. From what I have read here, it may be possible to upgrade your Snap to use these drives, but I am now certain, so do your own research first. I also have 2 power supplies for this series Snap, and also the chassis/motherboard, etc. complete with rails and display panel and caddys. Everything but the drives and power supplies. Here are the auction links: http://cgi.ebay.com/Snap-Server-520-...item27acd3f83d http://cgi.ebay.com/Snap-Server-520-...item27acd41d63 http://cgi.ebay.com/Snap-Server-520-...item27acd48120 Msg me for any offers or more info. TIA! |
