ideas on how to fit this WCS in my PC65.
Hi, this is the WC system i've put together in my head so far. I'm trying to come up with some ideas on how to put it in my case neatly without it getings in the way of other componets or causing mad clutter! I'm even considering external mounting of the radiator..

Do you have enough room in your bays to allow you to remove the internal drive cage? If yes, you're set easy. Mount the rad in the front and draw outside air through it, with the pump sitting in front of it.

I built the cylinder myself. It has 5 bright blue leds around the top.

System Specs:
Eheim 1048 pump BlackIce Xtreme rad (Only one that will fit inside PC-60 series cases without heavy mods to the case and heater core) DangerDen Maze3 with lucite top (I would recomend the Gemini cool water blocks over the Maze3, but the maze3 is sweet! Gemini can be had at www.case-mod.com) 120mm aluminum fan on back of BIX and two Antec stealth 80fans on the front. The 120mm fan is loud, I will be buying a PWM switch to silence it. As for the reservoir, it comes from a fish pump. I bought a screw on top pipe fitting from the local hardware store to go on top. I drilled holes to place 3mm blue leds. Drilled hole in side to mount intake barb fitting. I used pipe cement and plenty of silicone to waterproof it. For moving the HDD cage I drilled out the rivots and drilled new mounting holes. It just barely fits. The back side of it actually touchs some of the jumpers on the Motherboard. but just barely. Plenty of electrical tape ensure from any shorts. The pump is bolted to the bottom of the case with a little foam to keep the vibrations down. Everything looks cool, but the idea of placing fans in the front didn't work out well, the front bezel causes them to be really high pitched. I have found thin 80mm fans to replace the standard 25mm think 80mm fans, but installing them requires the removale of the radiator which = no fun! |

go to http://www.zoson.net/maze2%20setup/guts-s.jpg for a good example on how to fit that exact setup into your case!

I already posted this on the OC forums, but just in case. The radiator is a Dtek Heatercore, pump- Aqua VIA 1300, Wb-Homemade cathar clone. I removed the front fans but seeing craiger's design i might put the fans on the outside. Hope this helps
